Dee Potter is regarded as one of Tasmania’s most respected marriage celebrants.

Dee has conducted personalised wedding ceremonies for many public figures, couples from Tasmania, the mainland, as well as overseas couples who never fail to be fascinated with our beautiful island.

Dee’s background includes activity across a broad section of the community. As an educator, she has worked at all levels of education from primary to secondary, adult literacy and pre-tertiary.

Dee has a love of people and the community in which she lives and has served on many arts, business, community and health boards both state and national.

She has a love of the outdoors and enjoys travelling having lived and worked overseas for several years, hitch-hiking home from England through Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India.

Dee is very happily married with four adult children, of whom she is very proud.

She also enjoys catching up with friends over a meal or a glass of wine, cooking, reading, movies, theatre, sport and walking on her favourite beach – Bridport.
